Indications:
The medical device can be used in the following situations:
- supporting the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
- alleviating symptoms related to reflux, including: : heartburn, belching, epigastric pain, chest pain, pain during swallowing, hoarseness, irritative cough
- protection of the esophageal mucosa by creating a mucoadhesive layer that protects against harmful factors (including hydrochloric acid, pepsins, bile)
- moisturizing the mucous membranes of the esophagus, eliminating the feeling of dryness and soothing irritations
As a complementary therapy for patients suffering from reflux, despite the use of basic medications.
As an additional therapy for patients in the period of discontinuation of essential medications.
Main ingredients’ properties:
- Hyaluronic acid – has a moisturizing effect which maintains the elasticity of the mucous membranes of the esophagus, which effectively relieves irritation and discomfort associated with dry mouth.
- Poloxamer and carbomer – The product creating a mucoadhesive barrier that protects against the irritating effects of reflux.
