Tyndalisept – new on the EU market for the throat and oral cavity with tyndallized bacteria

We present a medical device – a throat spray with tyndallized lactic acid bacteria.
The product is available as a private label and creates a new group of medical products for the throat and oral cavity on the Polish market. Using the tyndalization process*, the lactic acid bacteria Lactobacillus rhamnosus contained in the product exhibit valuable properties, but with increased safety of use.
Smart product – support in inflammation of the throat and mouth
Tyndalisept throat spray effectively relieves irritation and discomfort associated with the symptoms of inflammation in the mouth, throat and tonsils.
How does our product work?
The spray has coating properties – it creates a protective film on the surface of the mucous membrane that is a barrier to pathogenic microorganisms. Through the competition mechanism, it blocks the entry of pathogens into the mucous membrane, thus limiting their colonization, supporting the natural process of treating inflammation and restoring the normal microflora of the mouth and throat.
Additionally, it moisturizes the mouth and throat by maintaining the elasticity of the mucous membranes, thus eliminating the discomfort associated with dry mouth and irritation caused by dry, polluted air. The patient experiences a decrease in the feeling of pain and the cough reflex.
The spray has a pleasant taste (raspberry-mint) and does not contain sugar. Xylitol, responsible for its sweet taste, additionally reduces the risk of caries.
It can be successfully used by the entire family, including children from 3 years of age. The opinions of our youngest “testers” say that the spray “is delicious and tastes like candy”😉
Why Tyndallized Bacteria in your throat spray?
Tyndalized (inactivated, non-living) lactic acid bacteria are a new, standardized ingredient with proven properties, including: limits the colonization of pathogenic microorganisms, which provides better conditions for the regeneration of the mucous membrane of the throat and oral cavity.
Thanks to the tyndalization process, the product is easier to standardize, transport and store – it does not require special thermal conditions, its storage temperature is 15 – 25 degrees Celsius. As a result, the product can be displayed on shelves, have a longer expiration date, and the number of bacteria in the product remains constant throughout its shelf life.
Product effectiveness tests
According to the results of in vitro tests conducted by Gofarm, Tyndalisept spray limits the growth of the tested pathogenic microorganisms thanks to a properly selected composition of formulation ingredients.
Tyndallized* bacteria contained in the product compete with three pathogenic microorganisms that are responsible for the most common infections of the throat and oral cavity (Staphylococcus aureus, Haemophilus influenzae and Candida albicans). Inactivated bacteria adhere to the tissue, thus competing with pathogenic microorganisms and limiting their adhesion to the mucosa.

*Tyndallization – otherwise known as functional pasteurization. This process aims to kill all microorganisms, both in vegetative and spore form. It involves pasteurization three times at a temperature of approximately 100 °C. After each heating, the material is cooled and left at room temperature.
