Ringer’s solution is distinguished by the fact that it contains a precisely selected mixture of mineral salts, i.e. sodium chloride, potassium chloride, sodium lactate, calcium chloride. Thanks to this, it is compatible to natural body fluids found in the human body in terms of osmolarity and ionicity. In medicine, it is used as an infusion fluid.

Lactated Ringer’s solution provides high irrigation efficiency. Studies show that it is even faster and more effective than saline (0.9 and 2.7%) in the process of cleansing the nasal mucosa*. It is also an ideal solution for people prone to nasal mucosa sensitivity.
Safety of use
Ringer’s solution improves the functioning of the mucociliary apparatus: it cleanses, moisturizes and prevents the secretion from drying out, which could block sinonasal drainage, and also restores the physiological direction of mucus movement.
Indications for use of Ringer’s solution
Dry mucous membranes, a blocked nose are a constant problem for both children and adults. Especially during the period when it is exposed to infections. Staying in air-conditioned (or heated) rooms, colds, air pollution and allergens – all this causes the loss of the comfort of free breathing, especially during sleep and eating, and the nasal mucosa becomes dry and irritated. That is why it is so important to regularly clean and moisturize the nose and sinuses, especially in the case of inflammation of the mucous membrane and runny nose.
Ringer’s lactate in the form of a rinsing and cleansing kit is especially recommended for the prevention and symptomatic treatment of the nose and sinuses. Mainly in the case of:
